Every building can hide a work of art within its stairwell. I love searching for these unexpected architectural spaces and transforming them into minimalist and abstract photographic art. In doing so, I often meet the people who live or work there. And yes, a little fitness helps as there are usually many stairs to climb. Through my images, I invite the viewer to let go of perspective, scale, and orientation for a moment. To see the familiar differently. And to discover the beauty of art hidden in everyday spaces.
